Welcome to Your Doctor Abroad. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and medical consultation services. By booking a consultation, messaging us on WhatsApp, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
1. What we provide
Your Doctor Abroad connects patients with licensed physicians for online video consultations and in-person clinic visits, covering a range of non-emergency medical concerns, prescription support, second opinions, and follow-up care. Services are provided under the supervision of licensed medical professionals.
2. Not for emergencies
Our services are not designed for medical emergencies or life-threatening conditions. If you or someone near you needs immediate help, contact your local emergency number directly — do not wait for a response from us. We are not a substitute for in-person emergency care, and our doctors will direct you to appropriate emergency services when a situation warrants it.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book a consultation for yourself. Consultations involving a minor must be initiated and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking and during your consultation. The quality and safety of the care you receive depends on this. Providing false or misleading information may result in the consultation being declined or terminated without a refund.
5. Nature of the service
Consultations provided through Your Doctor Abroad are a genuine medical service, not general information. That said, a remote consultation has limits a physical examination doesn't — our doctors will tell you plainly if your situation needs in-person or emergency care instead. You remain responsible for following through on medical advice and for seeking further care when advised to.
6. Payments
Consultations are paid for in advance of your appointment. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Your Doctor Abroad and the doctors on our platform are not liable for outcomes resulting from a patient withholding information, failing to follow medical advice, or delaying necessary in-person or emergency care. This does not limit liability for matters that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability arising from a doctor's own professional negligence.
8. Intellectual property

9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Italian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you may be entitled to in your own country of residence.
